This backyard in Forest Lake has gone from ‘fairly basic’ to ‘OASIS’ in a matter of weeks!! The owner came to Adaptit with one request…..”Build me a deck that puts me in a Tropical Resort!” Ryan designed this deck with Flyover Roof in 3-D and the home owner loved what he saw on our Design Software. The deck consists of a sub RHS steel frame and Modwood decking. We utilised the Kleva Klip system so there were no visible nails or screws. We removed the current window and replaced it with a Huge Double Opening Sliding Door from G. James Glass & Aluminium. Checkout the Video link to see what happened when the wall was removed. The roof is a Stratco Cooldek Flyover design with our 75 SHS stump posts supporting the patio beam out of the house roof. We built a Blueboard wall (had it rendered) at one end with 65mm modwood slats above for BBQ ventilation. The balustrade is our framed 100 series, consisting of 10mm toughened glass panels with the silver posts and toprail. The Stratco LED lights feature prominently on this project, and has the title of the first patio in Queensland to receive the flush mounted LED’s once they were released. The boys had a great time designing and building this deck for our client. Our only focus is keeping clients happy!!
